Celebrating the end of this ride

Last night we found Blue Bell' Ice cream. Yes - we both ate a pint of ice cream in one sitting (that's nearly 800 calories). Then we thought we'd relax in a calming movie. The life of Pi was the incorrect choice. We then enjoyed a little too much food at Texas Roadhouse before going to bed.

Today we are headed to the Ft. Worth Zoo. It's a cloudy, rainy day- but we are excited to do something fun (we planned six flags before we realized it was closed).

We are very grateful for everyone's support- and want you all to know that we are doing just fine. We are grateful that we hadn't been waiting for months for this baby. And really weren't too emotionally attached- yet. So life is good, we are happy, we feel very blessed. And our next adoption roller coaster we plan to ride will be closer to home.
